Teaching tips:
Use this simple visual aid to support teaching and other classroom activities. It is particularly useful to support SEND children or children who get overwhelmed by too many verbal commands.
Use the 'Stop and go' mode to play games such as Musical Statues or to indicate when to begin and when to stop.
Get children to line up or transition somewhere else sensibly using the ‘Walk and don’t walk’ setting.
Give children time to ‘think, pair, share’ and then stop by using the ‘Talking and silence’ mode.
The ‘Tick and cross’ or ‘Happy and Sad’ modes can be used as an assessment tool or to give visual feedback.
