Sound seek
Match a grapheme to the correct phoneme.
Look at the grapheme Cat draws on the monster's board. Click on a box to hear the phoneme it contains. If it matches the grapheme, click on the green button to select it.
Use 'Letters and their sounds settings' to choose the letter bank. The default grapheme order is Letters and Sounds but you can also choose Jolly Phonics. However, with 'Prioritise latest GPC' turned off, it doesn't matter if you use another programme.
You can also choose between pre-cursive and cursive and individual letter forms in 'Setup's phonics settings'.
Teaching tips:
Use with ‘Letter box’ or ‘Tidy up!’ to practise identifying, listening to and reading GPCs.
