Q&D was founded in 2000. We have made and continue to make software for many well-known educational publishers at primary, secondary and special needs levels and for the business sector.

We began publishing our own titles ten years ago based on the principle of ‘learning through play’. We are now a leading publisher in the Early Years sector with many of our products winning awards. In 2008 and 2010 we were the overall winners in the Early Years category at the BETT Awards for our creative CD-ROM titles Noisy Things and Pretty Things.

In 2009 we launched our online service busythings.co.uk to deliver our games in a modern format with all the benefits that the internet offers. Soon afterwards it was purchased by the London Grid for Learning making our software available to over 2,000 primary schools across Greater London. In 2011 busythings.co.uk was the winner of the BETT award for best Early years and Primary Digital content. 2011 also saw us branch out to a whole new market of library users across Australia.

The site will continue to evolve. We have many ideas about how to keep making it better and better and we continue to release our software on CD-ROM. We very much welcome your comments and suggestions as they help us achieve our aim of creating high quality content which is fun to play and has clear educational objectives.
