Busy Things is developed by Q&D Multimedia; we've been designing and publishing early years software for the last six years and developing software for other publishers before that. We've won a number of awards:

From September 2009 all the titles in our current Early Years catalogue will be included in Busy Things along with regular new activities. As well as designing and publishing our own software, we develop software for many of the UK’s leading educational publishers.

Q&D is unique in that we only develop software for the education market. This means that our staff has an in-depth knowledge of the issues involved in designing and developing quality software for schools and Early Years settings. We also have extensive experience of designing and developing educational software for SEN users.

Our clients include the BBC, Nelson Thornes, Scholastic, Sherston Publishing, Granada Learning, Semerc, Inclusive Technology, Scholastic and A&C Black. We are the developers of several successful titles published by these companies, including Mission Control V2, Badger Trails (Sherston Publishing), the Leaps and Bounds series (Granada Learning/Semerc), Rigolo 1 and 2 (Nelson Thornes) and Read and Respond (Scholastic).

Our software is used by more than a thousand schools and Early Years settings across the United Kingdom. It has been purchased by many local authorities including Northumberland County Council, Lincolnshire LEA, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Telford and Wrekin Council, Birmingham City Council, Dudley MBC, and Early Steps Education (formerly Educating Scotland).
