Help the Busy Things monster escape in our NEW time-telling game: Crunch Time

As we know that learning to tell the time can be a tricky business, we’ve roped in our lovely monster to make it a whole lot more fun in our NEW game Crunch Time!

Crunch Time is aligned to National Curriculum objectives for years 1 to 4 (ages 5 to 9), see all the objectives in the Maths National Curriculum (2014).

So, whether you’re just introducing your children to the concept of time or if they’re ready to tackle more challenging, time-bending questions give Crunch Time a try!

Learn to tell time with Crunch Time! The aim of the game…

Our monster is trapped in a clock-face – help him escape by telling the time! There are two types of question:

1) Set the clock to a given time;
2) Read the time on the clock.

Progress through the different levels and question types;

  • Crunch-time-telling-timeHours
  • Half-hours
  • Quarter past and quarter to
  • Five minute intervals
  • One minute intervals
  • a.m. and p.m.
  • Digital and analogue matching

You can customise the clock-face too:

  • 12 and 24 hour options
  • Roman numerals
  • No numbers at all!
